The International Cornea Project (ICP®) is an humanitarian outreach program whose purpose is to distribute tissue to ophthalmologists around the world.  Located in California, the International Cornea Project is managed by the San Diego Eye Bank and is supported by a network of U.S. Eye Banks, which regularly supply corneas to the Project for distribution.  The International Cornea Project is a member of the Eye Bank Association of America (EBAA) and the Pan American Association of Eye Banks (APABO).

 

ICP is dedicated to:

· Supporting humanitarian 

      projects and medical missions

· Collaborating with a worldwide

      network of ophthalmologists

      and eye banks

· Providing quality corneas for

      surgical transplant

· Scheduling cornea transplant

      surgeries in advance

· Shipping corneas in time for

      scheduled surgeries

· Assisting in the development of

      eye banks
